When is a release date not a release date?
When it’s a launch date. Apparently, VS2008 will still be released November 2007 (although only in Beta 2 at present?) - The launch will happen February 2008 to coincide with SQL Server 2008 / Windows Server 2008.
Surely that’s cheating and just building in some lag time?

I just had the worst 3.5 hours - our ISP had a hardware failure on a switch somewhere and consequently, our internet access died. I was lost, I watched Friends Bloopers, I watched Love Cats, Just Can’t Get Enough…
We’re all okay here now though, the internet is back and we can safely surf away [I mean in a work context of course]

I’ve recently been hit with a sledghammer! An ex-colleague has apparently levelled some rather dangerous allegations my way. They are, of course, completely unfounded and could potentially harm my professional reputation and that of my employer.
I think the main problem was their age, they were rather young and couldn’t appear to seperate personal vs. professional criticism. On a personal level, they were positively lovely. Professionally there were some rough edges, nothing too serious mind, just a lack of corporate experience.
Lets ride out the storm and see what happens eh?
